I was wondering why the HTML control in AIR Beta 2 doesn't support Flash. They missed that?

Thus, it's only localy possible to play a video by air currently? I would like to play in streaming mode a file.... Is there a way to do it? Could I use this player to achieve this goal?

Yes, I was but my apologies.. I'm running off your example library from beta 1 and forgot to replace it with the latest AIRAliases.js.

However, where do I put the movie path? Is that part of:
conn.connect( null );

should that be
conn.connect( "c:\folder\video.wmv" );

Also what is, 'viewport'. Is that a DIV and whats in it?

Sorry for all the newb questions, just starting out and 90% of everything I find on the web is still all beta 1 which is frustating when trying to learn with beta 2.

Chizl,

Have you included the "AIRAliases,js" file in your HTML? This file gives you shortcuts to most of the functionality that AIR offers. You can get it in the AIR SDK in the "frameworks" folder. Then just copy it over to your application, and add a "script" tag to your HTML to include the file.

Hope this helps,
Kevin

I tried your example above and got an error, "air.Video is not an object". I'm running with AIR SDK beta 2 and player.
